Gaja Ca’Marcanda 2016 – 75cl

The name Ca’Marcanda derives from a Piedmontese expression that can be translated as the “house of endless negotiations” and refers to the various meetings between the previous owners of the land and Angelo Gaja.

With a precise and direct character, the nose opens with terrestrial and balsamic notes of violet, roots, bark and sap. The palate is rich, with concentrated and crunchy notes of blackberry, blueberry, licorice and red orange. The ending is tasty, almost fleshy, with a precise note of iron that lasts at the end of the flavor.
