Mono C Castelão wine is produced 100% from Castelão grapes, from a vineyard planted in Oliveira, east of Peso da Régua in the Douro, with 25 years. Ruby red in color, with aromas of blackberries, plums and bitter chocolate. It has medium to whole body, with concentrated fruit with well-balanced tannins. It has good complexity and good finish.
